This was my first time riding a horse, that I can remember - who knew what I was doing when I was 3 - and I was SO excited. Until I realized that they gave me a horse in a coma. No gallouping, no giddy-up, no nothin. I am actually surprised that the horse could even pick up it's feet. Oh well, I guess I will know next time to not say that this is my first ride. Along with me was Crissy, my sister-in-law, and my hubby, Paul.

Here are just a few photos of our trip for the 4th of July. We had a lot of the family, on Paul's side, meet us out at Long Beach, WA - a kind of "family reunion". We had people come from ALL over. Seattle/Bellevue area, Eastern Washington, California, Georgia, El Salvador.....
It was great fun. We ate, flew kites, played games, went to all the shops, played tag (mostly adults...actually, it was ALL adults!), watched the sun set, went on beautiful hikes, and laughed until we cried. Oh yeah! And we watched the fireworks.
We will just have to do this again next year!
