Busch Gardens....its a date!

While my mom and dad were in town they took baby k for the day and we got to go to Busch Gardens! We didn't think that we'd be able to go to one of these for a while, so to be able to was quite a delight. Paul and I are roller coaster junkies, Paul more than me but I won't say no to ridin' em.
The one that got me though was the Griffon. It was terrifying to say the least. You start off on this 3 tiered contraption so that no matter where you are sitting you feel like you are in the first row...and boy do you ever. You climb the never ending beginning hill, turn the corner and there you are staring down at your "doom". It wouldn't be so bad if you saw it and just started soaring down all the hills. But noooooo, that would be too kind. They stop your fall right at the dropping point for a good 20 seconds so that you can stare down the 90 degree angle seeing just how far down your drop is (over 200 feet). Let's just say that I was having my normal palpations about this ride but when they did that......I was sure that I was going to have a heartattack. After that, all I can remember was screaming my lungs out. It was one of the best rollercoasters that I have been on for sure.
Later, I told Paul that I would ride that ride again with him since he loved it so much but when we got in that line....I completely chickened out! Paul rode it again, this time in the front row, which he said was even more thrilling. You can see the picture I took of him below as they sat suspended over the crowd. And then came the sceams..... :)
We had quite a bit of fun and would love to have another date like that! Too bad we don't live near family.

We just got "a little" wet when we rode this ride.

Paul is the 5th one from the left.

Our Garage Sale

We are right in the middle of packing up all our stuff for our two upcoming moves - first to Paul's auntie for the 3 remaining months in Seattle, and then to DC in June. So, to make our move easier we have decided to unload, garage sale, craigslist or Goodwill any "unnecessary" items. Here are some pictures of our garage sale we just had on Saturday. The first pictures are of Kiera and her auntie maxin' relaxin' in the camping chair - what you don't see is that she is being fed gerber graduates as she sits there....she was in heaven - those things are like candy to her.
When the garage sale slowed down, we tried to entertain ourselves by having Kiera walk up our stairs, dance around and do tricks on Paul's motorcycle.
The photos at the end are bonus photos/videos! The first are of Kiera reading her book and then of her playing with her new tonka truck...she loves pushing that thing around everywhere picking up toys as she goes along. And the last video is the best of them all - Kiera is not much of a giggler she usually shows her joy through squeels or a big silent open mouth. This is the first time I have been able to capture her illusive giggle - enjoy!

O Christmas Tree

Yippee! Paul took me out to get my first Christmas tree since we have been together - that is over 7 years I have waited for this tree. It smells so Christmas-y, it is so full and beautiful. And to top it all off, as soon as I was done decorating we looked outside and noticed that it was snowing. It was so beautiful...man, life is good! I so thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience I had to share!

Oh, and for all those Kiera lovers - I added a photo of Kiera at the end. I don't want to disappoint her ever growing fan club!

Our new home....again

We've moved again, if you hadn't already heard. We now live in a house with our very own backyard and patio! A lot of room for baby Large to roam around.

Here is the front of the new home. Follow me into our new home!

Be sure to take off your shoes before entering the home - the wifey is not particularly fond of sweeping!

Nothing like resting in the living room watchin' tv just waiting for the baby to arrive.... Mmmmm...I am getting hungry - Let's grab something to eat in the dining room.

Let's put the dishes away and help the wifey.

Let's head out to the deck - it is a GORGOUS day in Seattle today!

Ahhhh......

I would show you the basement but we are not quite done cleaning it up!

This is Davie's room, but we don't wanna go in there.....

Let's head upstairs instead....

Here's is our bedroom - check out the view!!

Ooooohhhh.....Ahhhhhhhh

Here's our bathroom.....can I get some privacy, please???

On to something, ahhem, a bit more appropriate, here is our pending arrival's room!

Can you see where I helped decorate? Wait, let me help you out....

See it now??? More than meets the eye....

With the help of the wifey's mom and sister we got really organized.

The new car

Here is our new car for all of those who don't live near by and can't see it in person!
