Our 4th Anniversary

For our 4th Anniversary, Paul took control! He planned the whole thing. I wasn't even sure where we were going. He even went the long way to drive there just so I wouldn't know where we were going.
He took me for a weekend away in Leavenworth. It was a lot of fun to just veg out with my hubby in a really cute hotel and relax in the warmth of the sun while shopping. We went out to dinner the first night to a great Italian restaurant. It was the BEST Italian food I had ever had and for reasonable prices! It was called Visconti's.
The next day he surprised me by taking me on a horse ride! I LOVE HORSES! And what made it even more special - two of my sister-in-law's, my niece and nephew dropped in to join us. It made for one of the best anniversaries yet. Can't wait for next year!

4th of July Trip

Okay, so I developed a few more (understatement) rolls of film and found some great new picts from the forth of July with the fam. Enjoy!

This was my first time riding a horse, that I can remember - who knew what I was doing when I was 3 - and I was SO excited. Until I realized that they gave me a horse in a coma. No gallouping, no giddy-up, no nothin. I am actually surprised that the horse could even pick up it's feet. Oh well, I guess I will know next time to not say that this is my first ride. Along with me was Crissy, my sister-in-law, and my hubby, Paul. Here are some more great family photos:

Here are just a few photos of our trip for the 4th of July. We had a lot of the family, on Paul's side, meet us out at Long Beach, WA - a kind of "family reunion". We had people come from ALL over. Seattle/Bellevue area, Eastern Washington, California, Georgia, El Salvador.....
It was great fun. We ate, flew kites, played games, went to all the shops, played tag (mostly adults...actually, it was ALL adults!), watched the sun set, went on beautiful hikes, and laughed until we cried. Oh yeah! And we watched the fireworks.
We will just have to do this again next year!

Dad's 50th birthday

Okay, so we knew it was going to come sooner or later. My dad turned 50 on July 1st, 2005 just like Disney. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!
So...to celebrate the Gantenbeins, our family's besterest friends, had us all over and baked my dad a special cake - A Mickey Cake! The cake was made with pink, red, black and white frosting. You can only guess what the black frosting did to us all! Just take a peek! Happy birthday dad!

This is my dad! Happy 50th!

This is Jim, my dad's best friend.
This is my sister and her now hubby with the infamous black frosting.

Obviously, this was a great night!

Baby Sister's Wedding

Okay, like I promised. Here are some more pictures of my baby sister gettin' hitched!

Okay, so here is my beautiful baby sister, Amy, getting married! I still can't believe that she is such a grown up! I still feel like I am a kid and here is my sister getting married. Next thing you know she'll be birthin' some babies! Yikes. How time flies. Above are some pictures that my sister's aunt took while the professional pictures were being taken. It was probably one of the most beautiful wedding that I have gone to....second to mine, right??? The top picture is of my family - Dad, Amy, new hubby - Bryce, Mom, me and Paul. The next picture is my Nanny. ....more pictures to come when I can get together with my baby sis....

Paul's 26th Birthday

Paul's 26th birthday was Transformer themed! He enjoyed and is looking forward to what I am going to do next year!

But he had a lot of fun playing games, opening gifts, playing ping pong and eating the cake I made him! :)
