Kiera has really taken to walking everywhere she goes now - it is SO cute to see such a little body with such little legs walking around!
So, we are not really sure what spurred on this unique dinner conversation but she was just being so silly how could we not capture it. It started out as her saying "hey" with her tongue out like that old beer commercial "whaats up!?!?" - unfortunately we didn't capture that though we did try to get her to do it again - hense, our "heys". I guess you could say our dinners are a good mixture of eatin' and playin'.
Here are some videos of Kiera practicing her walking from last Sunday. She is pretty much walking on her own now and will walk without any coercion or help from any of us! It is GREAT to see her progress so well.
Well, here it is not even three days after my last post and Kiera's biggest fans, her Nana and PopPop, are already on the phone to me wanting more Kiera videos. Seeing as Kiera's biggest fans are also the biggest contributors to her "lifestyle" and well, she just darn loves them, I couldn't let them down. So, below are some pretty cute videos of Kiera getting into mischief, showing her daddy's traits, taking her "first" steps, walking with the help of her walker, and getting her first lemon courtesy of her Auntie, Amy. Enjoy!
We've found Kiera's favorite food....gerber graduates. If we allowed she would eat these non-stop until the cows come home. So, to limit her intake we make sure that she works for it! (Also, if you listen real closely you can hear her burp her satisfaction from the other snacks.)
Amy babysits Kiera all the time....I wonder, will Kiera end up with dance moves like this? Stay tuned.
The downstairs of our house is a bit colder than the upstairs (thank you, single pane windows) so we make sure to keep Kiera in long sleeves, pants and socks. Kiera received a GOB of socks for Christmas and since her current socks were shrinking we put a new pair on her. After feeding her we removed the table on her high chair and noticed that her socks were almost all the way off...she always kicks while she is eating. We were able to tape this cute video of the event. Enjoy!
As mentioned many blogs ago, a friend of the family's, David Gantenbien, took on the title "Kiera's godfather". Now even though we aren't Catholic and and there are no responsibilities that go with the title...David embraced it whole-heartedly. After many months Kiera finally got to meet her "godfather". She took to him pretty quickly....Doesn't David look good with a baby in his lap? Maybe one day I will get to hold his baby and will be given the title of "godmother".
